Paul Russell Perry, 93, of Owatonna, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Traditions II. He was born December 25, 1924 in Terre Haute, Indiana the son of Russell and Ethel (Vinsson) Perry. Paul grew up in Parke County, IN and graduated from Rosedale High School in 1942. He was secretary of Parke County NFO and a member of Parke County Water and Soil Committee. On December 15, 1948, he married Geraldine Jerry Magee and the couple had two children. In 1965, he moved his family to Claremont where he had purchased a farm. They later moved to Owatonna in 1978. He is survived by his wife, Jerry Perry of Owatonna; daughter, Sandra (and Myron) Schmidt of Owatonna; son, Paul E. (and Judy) Perry of Belle Plaine; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Todd Perry; brother, Earl Perry; brothers-in-law, Richard Magee, Edward Magee. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral services will be held May 11, 2018 at 2pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
