Peter Everett Gillard, 68, of West Concord, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester. He was born January 7, 1950 in Owatonna the son of Eugene and DeLores (Kleeberger) Gillard. Peter grew up farming with his family near West Concord and graduated from West Concord High School. Soon thereafter, he began his own farming operation which he ran until having a stroke in 2002. Peter married Diane (Chilson) Kreiner September 5, 2005. Peter enjoyed geology and the history of glaciers. He loved the Minnesota River Valley and history including historical facts of both World Wars. He is survived by his wife, Diane Gillard of West Concord; best friend, Paul Weber of Claremont; sister in law, Mary Malone of Hutchinson and many aunts, cousins and friends. Interment with graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:30am at Concord Cemetery in Concord Township.
