Phyllis Ann Binkley,74, of Owatonna, passed-away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN with her family at her side.

She was born July 6, 1948 in Fairmont, MN, to Telmar and Dorothy Abel. Phyllis grew up in Warsaw and Faribault and graduated in 1966 from Faribault High School. She met Robert Binkley and got married in 1968. Phyllis was a daycare provider for 40 years.

Phyllis enjoyed sewing, reading, being at their cabin, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Dawn (and John) Schmidt of Northfield, Heather (and Jason Hames) Musel of Claremont; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Buffington and, Paula Reed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; parents Telmar and Dorothy Abel; sister, Penny Roemmich, and brother, John Abel.

A celebration of life honoring Phyllis and Robert Binkley will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
