Ralph Eugene Behne, 66, of Owatonna, Minnesota died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Traditions II after a year long battle with cancer and dementia. Ralph died surrounded by his family. Ralph was born August 23, 1947 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Marvin and Bernice (Von Ruden) Behne. He was raised in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1965. Ralph then served in the Army Reserves. He worked at OTC and also owned B&W Kawasaki. He worked for Josten''s for 35 years retiring in January 2011. During that time Ralph also worked 15 years at the Owatonna Eagles and later served as a trustee on the Owatonna Eagles for six years. Ralph was a member of the Owatonna Sheriff Posse for 23 years. Ralph is survived by his significant other Cheryl Seykora of Owatonna; his children Scott (and Tina) Behne of Owatonna; Kelly (and Matt) Slieter of Savage; Chris "Buddy" (and Amanda) Behne of Owatonna; Michelle (and Jody) Jandt of Owatonna; Missy (and Dan) Meier of Owatonna; Brooke Seykora of St. Louis Park; Brandi Seykora of St. Louis Park; and Bobbi (and Joey) Kenow of Claremont. He is also survived by his sisters Judy (and Haven) Bauer of Kenyon; June (and Don) Fisher of Owatonna; his brother Roger Behne of Owatonna and 13 grandchildren Jordan, Joel, Brianna, Sydney, Dalton, Landon, Hannah, Emily, Abigail, Olivea, Marah, Averi and James. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The Associated Church. Interment will be in the Havana Cemetery in Havana Township.
