Ralph Louis Draheim, 67, of Shakopee, died Sunday at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1948 in Waseca, MN the son of Harold and Marjorie (Bernard) Draheim. Ralph graduated from Morristown High School in 1966. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He was united in marriage to Jackie Kanne and the couple later divorced. Ralph worked for Brown Printing in Waseca from 1969 until 1986, and he then worked for National Computer Systems in Owatonna. He later moved to Shakopee in 1998 and worked for Instant Web Companies in Chanhassen and for Seagate as a security officer. He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church in Shakopee, and a lifetime member of the Waseca VFW. He was also a car collector.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy (and Darin) Gunderman of Robinsdale, son, Adam (and Jodi) Draheim of Waseca, four grandchildren sister, Rhea (and Jim ) Hartley of Jackson, MI;, brother in law, Duane Bock of Owatonna, 1 niece, 1 nephew and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elizabeth Bock.
Visitation will be at King of Glory Lutheran Church 2488 Vierling Drive East, Shakopee, MN on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at King of Glory Lutheran Church with Pastor Brett Boe officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna, with military honors provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit. Michaelson Funeral Home of Owatonna is handling arrangements.
