Ramah E. Stencel, 91, of Mankato, formerly of Owatonna died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Oak Terrace Assisted Living, North Mankato. Ramah was born October 14, 1918 in Hunter, North Dakota the daughter of Herman and Bertha (Kruckeberg) Buck. There she was raised and attended high school and later attending Business College in Minneapolis. She was united in marriage to Norbert Stencel in Minnesota Lake on December 7, 1965. She enjoyed sewing, playing bridge, photography and traveling. She was most proud of her 40 years working at Federated Insurance in Owatonna. Ramah is survived by her step-daughter, Judy (and Dennis) Segar of Mankato; three step-grandchildren, Andrew Segar (and Manda) of Minneapolis; Allyson (and Steve) Segar-Cohen of Chanhassen; Adam Segar (and Sara) of Minneapolis; a niece, Ruth (and Pat) Vizina and a nephew, John (and Cheryl) Stark of St. Louis Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, her parents and a sister, Maxine Stark. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Owatonna on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Owatonna with Reverend John Lestock officiating.
