Randy S. Underland, 50, of Owatonna, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at residence. Randy was born August 20, 1959 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Marvin and Elvina (Schulz) Underland. He attended school in Owatonna and played football and wrestled at Owatonna High School. Randy resided in Owatonna all his life and worked at Mustang Manufacturing Co. in Owatonna and most recently Crown Cork and Seal Co. in Faribault. Randy was an avid Minnesota Sports Fan. He also enjoyed Ford cars, movies, games, and poker. He deeply cared for his children and grandchildren and would take road trips to Colorado and Texas. He was also twenty-three years sober with Narcotics Anonymous. He was extremely active with NA and also served as a sponsor. He is survived by four children, Sharon Grieger of Grand Junction, Colorado, Randy Underland Jr. of Owatonna, Duane Underland (and Sarah Johnson) of Center, Texas, and Terry Underland of Owatonna; two granddaughters, Alexis and Brianna Grieger of Grand Junction, Colorado; two sisters, Dianne (and Mike) Allsen, of Madison, Wisconsin, Juliann (Dale) Brueske of New Ulm; brother, Tom (and Linda) Underland of Owatonna; two nephews, Jeff Allsen of Madison, Wisconsin and Hunter Underland of Owatonna. He is also survived by his Narcotics Anonymous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM . Funeral services will be held August 13, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend James Oberg officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.
