Raymond P. Aldrich, 56, of Owatonna, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. He was born October 6, 1955 in Hannibal, Missouri the son of Lyndall and Margaret (McNeill) Aldrich. Ray attended school in Hannibal, MO, and then served in the United States Army from 1976-78. He then did landscaping work in Missouri, and later moved to Arizona in 1987 when he met Paula. Ray and Paula Maas were married August 20, 1988; they lived in Arizona and moved back to Owatonna in 1991. Ray worked at Happy Chef, Truth Hardware, and OTC. In 1995 he became medically disabled and had to withdraw from his line of work. He enjoyed collecting stamps, coins, and eagles. He also enjoyed gardening and loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife Paula Aldrich of Owatonna, sisters Sherry (Robert) Ferguson of Sedona, AZ, Patty (Robert) Seaton of Republic, MO, and his brother James (Cathy) Aldrich of Bradenton, FL. Ray is also survived by his father and mother in law Maynard (Dianna) Maas of Owatonna, sister in laws Pam (Bill) Schultz of Owatonna, and Peg (Terry) Woods of Mankato, and many nieces and nephews, and his three dogs T-Bone, Ginger, and Starlet. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday August 24, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday August 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Braucht officiating. Memorials are preferred to Ray''s family.
