Raymundo Ramirez, age 88 of Kenyon, died Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Emeralds of Faribault.

Raymundo was born March 15, 1937, in Cd. Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. He was the son of Jose and Dorotea (Uribe) Ramirez.

Raymundo was united in marriage to Maria Elena Reyna in 1963. They lived in Cd. Acuna, Mexico before moving to Del Rio, Texas. Raymundo and Maria came to Kenyon as migrant workers and lived between Del Rio and Kenyon until 1987, when they became permanent residents of Kenyon. Over the years, Raymundo was employed as a truck driver and carpenter. He enjoyed watching boxing, working on cars, raising chickens and roosters, cooking for his family, and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren,

Raymundo is survived by his ten children: Maria Elena Rodriguez, Elida (Alfonso) Tellez, Ana Ramirez, Blanca Zapata, Raymundo Ramirez Jr., Ramiro Ramirez, Teresa (Reymundo) Cruz, Rodolfo Ramirez, Julie (Calixto) Torres, and Ruben (Yadira) Ramirez; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria; son, Manuel "Manny"; granddaughter, Jasmin Cruz; also brothers and sisters.
