Richard D. 'Butch' Worrell 66, of Owatonna, died Monday, March 19, 2012 at his home. He was born April 8, 1945 in Claremont, Minnesota the son of Floyd and Bernice (Thompson) Worrell. Butch graduated from Claremont High School in 1963. He was then united in marriage to Margaret Wasser on October 23, 1964 in Claremont. Butch did farming, construction work, and recently worked as a custodian at the Medford School. He also had a masonry restoration business. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, fishing, reading, and golfing. He is survived by his wife Margaret Worrell of Owatonna, children, Nina Worrell of Owatonna, Guy (Michelle) Worrell of Port Charlotte, FL, and Adam (Marie) Worrell of Mankato, three grandchildren Richard, Nolan, and Emilee. He is also survived by two sisters Carol (Jeff Pobanz)Jensen of Owatonna, Bonnie (Rally) Lurken of Wrenshall, MN, and one brother Buck (Janet) Worrell of Owatonna. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Dixie Rhodes. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday March 21, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at The Associated Church on Thursday March 22, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Associated Church with The Reverend James Oberg officiating.
