Richard Wade Kamrath, 76, of Owatonna, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Koda Living Community. He was born February 24, 1942 in Florence, Minnesota the son of Harold and Ruth (Powers) Kamrath. Richard graduated from Waseca High School in 1961. Wade worked as a hired hand for the Frederick family farm in Waseca County for many years. Later Wade worked as a mechanic for Curts Truck and Diesel in Owatonna. He enjoyed fixing things, bike rides, traveling, painting and puzzles. He is survived by his siblings; Clarisse Chris (Ludwig) Fretham, Leon (Mabel) Kamrath, Myron (Brenda) Kamrath, Harold Jr. Kamrath; sister-in-law, LeDene Kamrath; 9 nieces and nephews, Betty, LeAnn, Lisa, Laurel, Becky, Brian, Michael, Beth and Kari; 3 great nephews, Lewie, Barrett and Finley. He was preceded in death by father, Harold and Ruth Kamrath; brothers, Dale Kamrath, Dean Kamrath; sister, Karla Schroeder. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am. Funeral services will be held December 28, 2018 at 11:00am at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Buegler officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.
