Robert 'Bob' D. Summer, 78, of Owatonna, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Traditions of Owatonna. He was born January 15, 1933 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Henery and Mayme (Bendorf) Summer. Bob was a veteran of the Korean War and was very proud to have served his country. He married Alice Summer on April 3, 1954 in Owatonna. He was employed at OTC for twenty four years and retired in 1993. He is survived by his children Bobbi (and Tom) Relopez of New Hope, Curt (and Cheryl) Summer of Owatonna, Jerry (and Mary ) Summer of New Hope, six beautiful grandchildren Calisti, Kasey, Scott, Matthew, Kristi, and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, brothers Sylvester, and Kenneth, and sister Viola Perron. A private family service will be held at Michaelson funeral Home.
