Robert Kenneth Jones, 62, of Owatonna, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family, after a long hard-fought battle with Parkinson's.

He was born September 16, 1961, in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Kenneth and Janet (Larson) Jones. Robert was a member of the Owatonna High School graduating class of 1980. He worked at NAPA and Truth Hardware before working at Viracon until 2016 due to health conditions.

Robert loved to watch Nascar whenever he got the chance to. He also enjoyed working in the yard, fishing, golfing with his friends, and traveling. Robert also liked to have movie nights and watch his son ride dirt bike throughout the years. He was known to be a helper and wanting to help people in any way that he could.

He is survived by his husband Julio Cordova-Jones of Owatonna; son, Andy Jones of Rochester; brother, Michael (and Lynda) Jones of Lakeville; sister, Carol Jones of Owatonna; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Janet Jones, and daughter, Sara Connelly-Jones.

Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 4PM to 7PM.
