Robert Marcus Laugeson, 76, of Owatonna, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Homestead Hospice House. He was born May 12, 1941 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Clarence and Anna (Bowman) Laugeson. Bob was raised in Hackensack where he graduated from High School. While growing up he worked on his family's resort and enjoyed playing football. After high school he attended Bemidji State University. He worked for 3M as a chemist prior to starting his own business building lamps. Bob married Janet Lulf and the couple had one child, Elizabeth and they were later divorced. Bob met and married Floy Kelly in Coolidge, AZ in 1980. The couple moved back to Minnesota following their marriage. In 1994, they moved back to Arizona until 2003 when they settled in Owatonna. Robert is survived by his wife, Floy Laugeson of Owatonna; daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson of Los Angeles, CA and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1pm at Michaelson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
