Roman Macht, 90, of Owatonna, MN died June 13, 2024 at Birchwood Cottages.

Roman was born July 2, 1933 in Willow Lake Township, Minnesota, son of Michael and Marie (Hengel) Macht.

On June 6, 1956, he married Beverly Ann Donahue in Jeffers, Minnesota. Roman worked for G & K Towel and Garment Service, Inc. for many years. He lived in Owatonna, Minnesota for over 50 years.

He will be missed by his 6 children, David (Dawn) Macht of Owatonna, Jean (Dan) Bieber of Middleburg, FL, Ken (Donna) Macht of Owatonna, Shari (Vaughn) Lenander of Lonsdale, MN, Joan (Craig) Breamer of Owatonna, and Janet (Brian) Wobschall of Owatonna; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, parents, daughter-in-law Robin Macht, grandson Chet Macht, grandson Jason Macht, brother Donald Macht and sister Irene Kavanaugh.

He often shared his love for the concertina and listening and dancing to polka music. It was a big part of his life growing up and throughout. He never missed an opportunity to view his favorite westerns and various polka shows on TV. He had a good sense of humor which endeared him to many. He will be missed by everyone.
