Ronald Bruce Minske, age 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Owatonna following a brief illness.

He was born on August 13, 1949, in Waseca, the son of Marvin M. and Didda (Gisladottir) Minske. He grew up on a farm in Deerfield Township and graduated from Medford High School in 1967. While in school, he participated in wrestling, football, and track. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country from 1968-1972. After the military, he attended Rochester Community College where he met the love of his life, Cindy Jensen. They were married in August of 1976. He finished his education at Mankato State, earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He spent 35 years at Brown Printing Co. of Waseca. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. The annual family vacation at Leach Lake was very important to him. He also enjoyed baking cookies and banana bread during his retirement. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Reading scripture for Sunday services was very enjoyable for him.

He is survived by his wife Cindy of Owatonna, together they had two children: Karla (Brian) Zufall of Owatonna and Erik (Karen) Minske of New Hampshire; four grandchildren: Adam, Elliot, Lilah, and Garrett Zufall. He is also survived by a sister Susan Mosher of Waseca. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Alan and an infant daughter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church. Funeral services will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 22nd at 11:00 am. Military honors will be provided by the Steele County Military Funeral Unit. Interment will be at Blooming Grove Cemetery following lunch.
