Rose C. Lake, 90, of Owatonna, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Cedarview Care Center. She was born in Big Stone City, SD to Peter and Bertha (Ross) Bonn. Rose married Claude Maxson September 13, 1932 in Clear Lake, SD. After Claude''s death she married Harold Lake in April of 1978. Rose is survived by her son Claude (Carol) Maxson of Monticello, IN, stepdaughter Betty Wencl of Owatonna, special niece Marlys (Cliff) Koeckeritz of Owatonna, and several other nieces and nephews. Four grandchildren also survive Rose, four great grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, twenty one step great grandchildren, and seventeen step great great grandchildren. Her two husbands, four brothers , two sisters, and one step son and one step daughter preceded her in death. Rose will be buried next to her first husband Claude in Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvalde, TX. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
