Rose M. O'Connor, 85, of Owatonna, died Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Pleasant Manor in Faribault. She was born September 22, 1934, in Morristown, the daughter of Charles and Hetty (Witter) Mosher. She attended Owatonna High School. On May 1, 1965, she married James E. O'Connor in Owatonna. They had three children and was a homemaker. She also worked at Westside Board and Lodge in Owatonna cooking and taking care of the residents. Rose enjoyed reading, shopping, visiting and talking on the phone. She loved animals specifically her dogs. Rose was known as being a very loving and caring mom and grandma. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandsons. Rose is survived by her children; Thomas O'Connor of Austin, Ann (Alden) Baumgartner of Owatonna and Michael O'Connor of Owatonna; grandsons, Brandyn, Brett and Cody Baumgartner; sister, Betty Karow of Owatonna; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James who died on June 23, 2010; brother, Victor Mosher and sister, Maxine Mosher. Funeral service will be held March 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens.
