Rose Marie Wichser, 104, of West Concord, Minnesota died July 28, 2015 at Chicos Board and Lodge in West Concord. Rose was born November 13, 1910 in West Concord, Minnesota the daughter of Edgar and Mary (Seeley) Robinson. Rose graduated from West Concord High School in 1929 where she participated in her favorite sport, girls basketball. She married Walter Wichser on October 15, 1929 in West Concord. Rose and Walter farmed on the family farm until retirement in 1970. Following their retirement, Rose worked a short time at Leutholds in Kasson, Minnesota. She was an active member of Concord Church of Christ where she served on Women's Council and East Side Circle. Rose was a Gold Star mother and member of the West Concord American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Concord Ladies Club. Rose loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed quilting and other crafts, cooking and entertaining. She is survived by her daughters, Marivon (Gary) Johnston of Rochester, MN, Pat (Bill) Hughes of Kasson, MN, Janelle (Mike) Taylor of Spicer, MN; her son, Walter Wichser of Cottage Grove, MN; her sister, Evelyn Edmond of Kasson, MN; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter; son, Veldon L.; infant child; two grandsons, Scott Taylor and Mitch Wichser; sister, Florence Vangness; two brothers, Archie and Lyle Robinson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, West Concord on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Concord Church of Christ with The Reverend Peter Moen officiating.
