Rosella (Rosie) Mary Moe, 86, of Owatonna, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Rosie was born on September 4, 1927 in Owatonna to Victor and Anna (Houdek) Kubat, her parents died at an early age and she lived with her grandparents and neighbors. At the age of 16 she moved into Owatonna and worked at Jostens for 5 years. Rosie married Howard Moe October 20, 1948. Besides raising 4 children, she worked at Farmers Feed and Supply for 30 years as a bookkeeper and clerk. After retiring she worked at Cashwise for 2 years and Cabela''s for 5 years. She loved the outdoors working in the yard and her gardens. She was known for her burpless cucumbers. Her family, especially her grandchildren, couldn''t wait for them to be ripe and ready to eat. Rosie was active in her church, working at funeral dinners and delivering meals and quilting. She also worked at Senior Place making lefse every fall. Rosie is survived by her 4 children, Carol (Jeff) Notto, of Woodbury, Bernie (Diane) Moe, of Owatonna, Keith Moe, of Owatonna, Patricia, of California; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and her brother, Jerome (Mildred) Moe, of Claremont. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard (2013), 2 brothers, 1 sister and her parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church in Owatonna, MN with Pastor John Weisenburger officiating.
