Russell M. Galley, 87, of Kenyon, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Kenyon Sunset Home. He was born March 13, 1923 in Kenyon, Minnesota the son of Perry and Josie (Tubbs) Galley. Russell graduated from Kenyon High School in 1940. He served in the United States Navy from 1945-1946; on July 10, 1948 he married Jeanette Bultman. Russell and Jeanette farmed around the Kenyon area, and Russell worked for the state of Minnesota in the early 70's. Russell was an avid Twins fan. He is survived by his children Cheryl Galley of Kenyon, Rick (and Linda) Galley of Old Town, FL, and one grandson Tim. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers Lyle and Keith. Visitation will be at St. John's United Church of Christ on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Memorial service will be held Saturday August 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. John's United Church of Christ with Reverend Lora Sturm officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's UCC Cemetery.
