Ruth E. Hill, 72, of Owatonna, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. She was born September 28, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Arthur and Virginia (Spitler) Pradel. She attended school in Naperville, Illinois and graduated from Naperville Central High School in 1957. In 1964, she graduated from Southland Bible Institute in Pikeville, Kentucky. Ruth was married to Amon Hill on October 8, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. They made their home in southeran California from 1967 to 1980. They then moved to Oklahoma and Illinois then Plymouth, Minnesota in 1990. In 1994, they made their home in Owatonna. Ruth worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church where she was very active. She was also a member of the Harmonettes and Golden Tones. Ruth was loving and caring, kind and patient and had a true Christian heart of concern for others. She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Amon Hill of Owatonna, MN; children, Joel Hill of Montgomery, IL, Joshua Hill of Minneapolis, MN, April (and Corey) St. Martin of Owatonna, MN, and Faithful Hill of Owatonna, MN; four grandchildren, Sharon Hill, Laura, Steven, and Hannah St. Martin; brothers and sisters, George (and Pat) Pradel of Naperville, IL, Grace (and John) Wendel of Elmhurst, IL, Jack (and Ginny) Pradel of Naperville, IL, Char (and Guy) Fraley of Naperville, IL, and Paul (and Sue) Pradel of Appleton, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, Owatonna, MN on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM . Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Brian Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church.
