Sandra Jean Schroer, 65, of Owatonna was carried home by heavenly angels while at Allina Hospital on Saturday, March 12, 2016 with her family at her side. Sandra was a very special lady born on November 12, 1950, in Austin, MN to Larry and Margie (Stoltman) Schroer. She spent the first ten years of her life in rural Waltham. She enjoyed farm life and all the animals. She moved with her family to Owatonna in 1960, spending the rest of her life there. Sandra enjoyed her large collection of books, spending hours a day looking at them and having people read to her, as well as watching game shows and videos. There were many activities she liked doing with the family as well. Sandra was a friendly lady who made friends easily and loved talking and asking questions. Sandra spent the last 18 months of her life at Cedardale Homes where she was loved and will be missed. Sandra will be deeply missed by her surviving brothers, Roger (Patti) Schroer of Owatonna and Larry (Tracy) Schroer Jr. of Glenville, and sisters, Kathy (Jim) Pantier and Mary Jo Pramann all of Owatonna, many nieces, nephews, friends, and a couple of very Best Friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Moses Frechette, brother-in-law, Leroy Pramann, great niece, Angel Varner, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Avery officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
