Scott William Hensley, 14, of Owatonna, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at his home. He was born April 20, 1995 in Owatonna the son of Jerry and Allanda (Schroeder) Hensley. Scott was a determined student in school about to enter the ninth grade. He received goods grades and excelled in math. He was very personable and had a quick wit about him. Scott spent a lot of time with his older brother, Kellie, and his friends. He loved to play video games and could master most of them in a short amount of time. He liked to go fishing as well as baking cookies and brownies. Scott was artistic and very affectionate. He always had a hug for those close to him. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Allanda Hensley; brothers, Kellie Hensley and Joshua Hensley; sister, Ashlee Hensley; maternal grandmother, Laura (and John) Knudson of Blooming Prairie; great uncle, Wayne Hasher of Owatonna and aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sue Hensley. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 2:00pm at Michaelson Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
