Scott A. Stursa 39, of Minneapolis, died Monday, January 11, 2010 at his home. He was born March 22, 1970 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of David and Sandi (Betlock) Stursa. Scott graduated from Medford High School in 1988, and attended the University of Minnesota, and obtained his Masters degree in education from Indiana University. Scott worked in higher education at Rutgers University and later at Hunter College in New York. He received the award of outstanding graduate student while at Indiana University. He enjoyed flowers, shopping, going to dinner and the theatre, and traveling. Father, David Stursa of Medford, survives him. His mother Sandi preceded Scott in death. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Saturday January 16, 2010 from 10- 11 AM. Memorial service will be held Saturday January 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Dr. Ronald D. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
