Sherman Haugen, age 73, of Red Wing, formerly of Kenyon died Saturday, May 6, 2017. Sherman Kermit Haugen was born on October 13, 1943 in Faribault, Minnesota the son of Kasper and Pearl (Finne) Haugen. Following his graduation for high school in 1961, he attended the National Technical School in Los Angeles, California for nine months and later attended the University of Minnesota. Sherman enjoyed music, especially classical music, and played in the high school band. Sherman has resided at Mas Board and Room in Red Wing for the last eleven years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kasper and Pearl (Finne) Haugen. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Holden Lutheran Cemetery, 6949 - 30th Ave. Blvd, Kenyon, Minnesota.
