Shirley Ann Harris, 80, of Owatonna, died Friday, February 19, 2021 at Benedictine Living Community in Owatonna. She was born May 6, 1940 in Owatonna the daughter of Harvey and Helen (Perrin) Johnson. She grew up on a farm south of Steele Center. She graduated from New Richland High School in 1958. On September 2, 1960, she married Donald Harris at the Assembly of God Church in Ellendale. The couple lived in California for seven years before moving back to a farm south of Steele Center. Shirley was a homemaker and later worked at Jostens Credit Union. Shirley dearly loved her family and spending time with them brought her great joy. She also loved fellowship with her friends, whether playing cards or going out to eat. She enjoyed setting jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and playing board games. She liked to dress nicely and look neat. Her kindness and gracious spirit was evident to anyone who was fortunate to be around her. She is survived by her children, Robert Harris, Linda (Steve) Wesely and Cheryl (Tom) Stenzel all of Owatonna; grandchildren, Brad (Staphany) Wesely, Tanner (Dana) Wesely, Naria Stenzel and Jaci Stenzel all of Owatonna; step-grandchildren, Bridgid (Jerome) Wood of Alabama and Shannon Hosteller of Owatonna; great-grandchildren, Dakota Dalbec and Brayden Dalbec; step-great-grandchildren, Gabe, Jasmine, Javier, Robert, Domonic and Kiera Hosteller and a brother, Herb (Karen) Johnson of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Helen; husband, Donald Harris; daughter-in-law, Debbie Harris and siblings, Phillip Johnson, Mavis Chapman, Betty Koeshall and Norma Seabloom. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Monday, March 1st from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM . Funeral services will be held March 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor David Shaw officiating. Interment will be in the Berlin Cemetery rural Ellendale.
