Silas Luke Meyer, 20 month old son of Geoff and Josie (Harvey) Meyer of Crystal, died unexpectedly Monday, May 9, 2011, at Children''s Hospital-Minneapolis Campus. Born on August 21, 2009 in Woodbury, Silas is survived by his parents, Geoff and Josie Meyer of Crystal; a brother, Tryggve Meyer of Crystal; maternal grandparents, Mark and Janet Harvey of Owatonna; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Zoe Meyer of Minneapolis; Laurie and Peter Mumford of Dayton, MN; Great Grandparents, Arlon and Jeannette Fuchs of Elk River; Eldon Erlandson of Albert City, IA; Frank and Molly Harvey of Mankato; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna with Pastor John Linde officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in memory of Silas Meyer at any US Bank.
