Stanley Mark Lyndgaard, 58, of Owatonna, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. He was born March 12, 1951 in Brookings, South Dakota the son of James and Lola (Greve) Lyndgaard. Stan graduated from High School in Groton, SD. He then completed his education at Mankato State University where he received his Bachelors Degree. Stanley married Darla Goodrich August 9, 1975 in Mapleton. The couple made their home in Waseca until moving to Owatonna in 2002. Stan was a 25 year employee of Brown Printing. He was active in Christian Family Church in Owatonna. El Shaddai school was named based on the suggestion Stan had made. Stan was a very encouraging person who was full of love and hugs. He studied the Bible faithfully. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing. Stan will always be remembered for his jokes and dry sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Darla Lyndgaard of Owatonna; daughter, Sara Lyndgaard of Tulsa, OK; sons, Aaron Lyndgaard of Owatonna, Josh (and Kathleen) Lyndgaard of St. Louis Park; sister, Carol (and Jack) Kovala of Apple Valley; brother, Paul (and Vickie) Lyndgaard of Le Sueur. Stan is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Interment will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 10:30am in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna followed by visitation at The Associated Church from 11am-12pm. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 12:00pm at The Associated Church with Dr. Tim Peterson officiating.
