Steve D. 'Worm' Wilson, 55, of Waterville, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at residence in Waterville. He was born September 12, 1953 in Owatonna, the son of Elmer and Evelyn (Eliason) Wilson. Steve was a master bricklayer who worked for several area construction companies, including some self-employment work. He was a perfectionist in his craft and had a lot of pride in his work. Steve loved hunting, fishing, cooking, working with his hunting dogs. He loved having a good time with his friends and family. Steve was a well-known, fun spirited man who was the life of any gathering. He is survived by his sons, Damon Wilson of Chatfield, Justin Wilson of Owatonna, Shane Wilson and LaLonnie of Faribault; significant other Mindy Hoff of Waterville, three grandchildren, Krista, Brett and Levin, step-children Katie (and Jahvar) Marshall, Holly Hoff and Shane, Luke Hoff, seven step-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jean, brothers Jerald and Richard, and one son Brett. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1-2 pm. Funeral services will be held November 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Michaelson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Merton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
