Steven Eugene Anderson, 56, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, July 17,2024, at his residence.

Steven was born June 5, 1968 in Elk Horn, WI. to the late Robert Eugene Anderson and Carol (Stardy) Anderson Mahlman of Owatonna. He graduated from Owatonna High School in 1987 then attended Faribault Community College, where be obtained a nursing certificate, then went on to work for Owatonna Care Center and in Faribault for 5 years. After that, Steven worked at Truth Hardware for 13 years. Steven had a love for music. He had a little band where he played the drums, guitar, bass and piano. He also loved to fish and the outdoors.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Kevin Paul Anderson of Owatonna; aunts, uncles and cousins; special aunt and uncle, Randy and Corrine Mahlman of Owatonna.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Robert Anderson; aunts and uncles.

Family will receive friends Monday from 10AM to 11AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna, with services to follow at 11AM. Burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
