Steven J. Blaisdell, 63, of Jackson, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. He was born May 22, 1948 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of James and Margery (Koronski) Blaisdell. He graduated from West Concord High School with the class of 1966. Steven married Mary Moreland on April 17, 1970. The couple lived in Florissant, Missouri later moving to Jackson, New Jersey. Steven worked for McDonnell Douglas and later for Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals and Merck as a research scientist. Steven enjoyed reading, gardening, home improvement, working on cars, computers, traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Sarah; sons, Adam and Andrew; grandsons, Zachary and Ethan; granddaughter, Elena; daughter-in-laws, Jackie and Louise; son-in-law, Paul; Mother, Margery; brothers, John and Scott. He was preceded in death by his father James Blaisdell. Visitation will be at Concord Church of Christ on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Concord Church of Christ with The Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery in Concord Township.
