Stuart Willis Streiff was born September 4, 1948 to Leon and Martha (Karlen) Streiff. Stuart died peacefully on the evening of Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Mary's Campus surrounded by loved ones. He left us with the gift of peace and he is with his Lord and Savior. He was baptized and confirmed at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Berne, MN. He graduated from West Concord High School and Mankato Commercial College. Stuart was married to Kathryn Meyer on June 18, 1977 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. He is survived by his wife Kathy Streiff of Owatonna; a brother Stanley Streiff (and Jenifer Wilson) of West Concord; and a sister Sharon (and Richard) Bishop of Harmony. He is also survived by nephews Scott (wife Jennifer) Streiff; Jon (wife Teri) Streiff, Joshua Bishop (wife Erika Helgeson); Jesse Bishop (and Kristin Berg); and Jacob Bishop (and Christopher). Niece Sarah (husband Tyler) Warren; great nieces Cassidy and Courtney Streiff; Mali Warren and great nephews Carter Streiff, Connor and Mason Streiff and Beck Warren. Stuart's nieces and nephews were his pride and joy. His lifelong friend, Dennis Matti, also survives him. Also surviving are his mother-in-law Phyllis Meyer, sisters-in-law Kris (and Gene) Klingbeil; Karen (and Daryl) Ring; Lori (and Joe) Robertson; LouAnn (and Jim) Henderson; Beth (Jeff) Zeller;Brenda (Bruce)Hermanson; Tina (fiance Brent Kappler) Knutson; brothers-in-law Steve (and Dayton) Meyer; Kevin (and Carmen) Meyer; Jon (and Nancy) Meyer; Bill (and Jayne) Meyer; Paul (and DeDe) Meyer; Lloyd Meyer and their families. Stuart will be greatly missed by his family, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and infant sister. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Stuart's Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Sandy Miller and The Reverend Todd Buegler officiating.
