Sylvia N. Shoberg, 82, of Kenyon, died Sunday morning, at her home. She was born December 23, 1928 on the family farm near Isanti, MN, the daughter of Martin and Ida Keacher. She was baptized January 28, 1929. She married James Shoberg on September 5, 1953. She is survived by her husband James Shoberg of Kenyon, four children Wayne (and Carol) Shoberg of San Antonio, TX, Dave (and Sue) Shoberg of Plattsmouth, NE, Scott (and Sheila) Shoberg of Farmington, and Lisa (and Al) Weiner of Rochester. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Wednesday August 17, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Dale Lutheran Church, Kenyon on Thursday August 18, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Funeral services will be held Thursday August 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Dale Lutheran Church, Kenyon with The Reverend Paul Reppe and Intern Amanda Jertson officiating.
