Terrance Ray Sharp, 66, of Owatonna, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his home. He was born January 9, 1954, in Tyler, Minnesota the son of Calvin and Margaret (Fezzler) Sharp. He graduated from Lake Benton High School, Class of 1972. On October 14, 1972, he married Cindy Knudsen in Tyler. The couple moved to Englewood, California and eventually returned to Minnesota. Terry worked for Owatonna Tool Company as a machinist and celebrated a 25th anniversary with the company. He retired from the workforce in June of 2019. Over his life, he enjoyed playing racquetball, golf, fishing, pool and cribbage. He also enjoyed projects around the house, spending time with grandchildren and watching their activities, traveling and rooting for the Twins, Vikings and Wild. He is survived by daughter, Brandi (and Shawn) Vieths of Owatonna and their children, Olivia, Tucker and Finn; daughter, Renae (and Jeremy) Kasper of Alexandria and their children, Devan and Nora; girlfriend, Elizabeth Reineke of Owatonna; siblings, Larry (and Jeanette) Sharp of Minneota, Gary (and Dolly) Sharp of Ordway, CO, Cathy Gilbertson of Queen Creek, AZ, Deanna (and Jim) Dhaene of Queen Creek, AZ, Perry Sharp of Iroquois, SD, Shari Sharp of Ghent and Barry (and Diane) Sharp of Fairmont. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Sharp; parents, Calvin and Margaret Sharp; brother, Kevin Sharp; father and mother-in-law, Mervil and Lorraine Knudsen and brother-in-law, Harvey Gilbertson. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Wednesday, January 29th from 4:00-7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held January 30, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
