Terry L. Lester, 51, of Minneapolis, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Minneapolis. He was born August 22, 1960 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Larry and Jean (Salisbury) Lester. He graduated from Medford High School in 1978. He attended University of Minnesota Waseca. He married Kris Rions in 1980 in Owatonna. They were later divorced. Terry sold Amway for a number of years. He also worked for National Federation of Independent Business as a membership salesman in southern Minnesota. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida where he worked with Teen Challenge. He then returned to Minnesota where he worked at Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. Terry loved to fish and hunt. He also had a passion for politics and was a lobbyist. He is survived by his son, Ryan (and Chrissy) Allen of Owatonna; his three daughters, SueLynn (and Aaron) Junkert of Robbinsdale, Misty Lester of Minneapolis, Terra Marquez (and Jory Isenhower) of Fridley; four grandchildren, Alexis, Isaac, Deegan, and Logan; parents, Larry and Jean Lester of Owatonna; two sisters, June (and Butch) Ackerman of Morristown, Edna (and Kenneth) Ringhofer of Owatonna; two brothers, Tom Lester of Owatonna, Larry Lester (and Rachel DeHerrera) of Owatonna; eight nieces and nephews, and many extended family. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Tracey Dean Lester, maternal and paternal grandparents, and uncle, Gordon Lester. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home.
