Join in the celebration of life for Terry D. Ronning, 67, of Montgomery, who passed away in his home of natural causes on Monday, April 29, 2013. Terry was born August 3, 1944 in Faribault, Minnesota the son of Norman and Carol (Mund) Ronning. He graduated from West Concord High School in 1962 when he then attended Mankato State College before being drafted into the United States Army. He began farming with his father in Ellington Township after being honorably discharged and was united in marriage to Sharon Baker on December 29, 1975. The couple lived outside of Montgomery where Terry did construction for various companies. He enjoyed collecting miniature tractors, restoring antique tractors and farm machinery, and raising miniature horses. He is survived by his wife Sharon of Montgomery, daughter Molly Ronning of Shakopee; mother Carol Ronning, and sister Sue Ronning both of West Concord. He was preceded in death by his father Norman. The service will be held at Hauge Lutheran Church, 317 3rd St. Kenyon, Minnesota on Thursday May 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Martin Horn. There will be an opportunity to visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Kenyon Cemetery in Kenyon. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials for them to distribute later as they wish. Michaelson Funeral Home of Kenyon is handling arrangements.
