Terry Randy Wilker, 54, of Owatonna, died unexpectedly of an accidental death in his home on Friday, July 4, 2014. He was born January 3, 1960 in Waseca the youngest child of Harold and Annabell (Manke) Wilker. The family moved to Owatonna in 1970 from their farm in Deerfield, MN. He was a 1978 graduate of Owatonna High School. In 1996 he married Becky Erickson of Owatonna. Together the couple have three beautiful daughters,twins Madeline and Kennedy (age 10) and Ava (age 5). His daughters were his absolute pride and joy. Terry was a truck driver by trade. He drove truck for various businessess in Owatonna for 30 years. He owned and managed rental properties and was partial owner of Just One More in Owatonna. Terry was a jack of all trades including tree removal and lawn service. Terry was a loving husband, father and friend. He was hard working and generous and would give the shirt off his back for a stranger. He enjoyed boating, camping and playing sports with his children. He was an avid collector of many things including antiques and sports memorabilia. Laughter seemed to find him wherever he went. His enthusiasm and zest for life was contagious. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, Becky (Erickson) Wilker; daughters, Madeline, Kennedy and Ava Wilker; mother, Annabell (Manke) Wilker; siblings, Charlie Kern, David (Barbara) Wilker, Sharon Wilker, Sandy (Tim) Hansen, Sheila Wilker, Jerome (Jane) Wilker and Gary Wilker; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; his parents-in-law, Dewayne and Tillie Erickson and brother-in-law, Mike (Kim) Erickson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Wilker and his brother-in-law, Jim Kern. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held July 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with The Reverend Mark Rosenau officiating.
Memorial gifts to Terry's daughters are preferred.
