Theodora Annabelle Remmen, 90, of Kenyon, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Kenyon Sunset Home. She was born August 26, 1918 in Warsaw Township the daughter of Anton and Anna (Lockrem) Remmen. Theodora completed country school prior to attending and graduating from Faribault High School. She went to Waldorf College for two years to become an elementary teacher. Theodora was a life member of Vang Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School at Vang and was active with the women of the church. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by cousins, Beatrice Lockrem of Dennison, Austin (and Louise) Lockrem of Northfield and several other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at Vang Lutheran Church on Friday from 1-2pm. Funeral services will be held January 23, 2009 at 2:00pm at Vang Lutheran Church with The Reverend Terje Hausken officiating.
