Theresa A. Gilman, 39, of Blooming Prairie, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Owatonna Hospital as a result of injuries from an automobile accident. She was born August 7, 1969 in Owatonna, the daughter of Dennis and Susan (Sikel) Kubat. She grew up in Owatonna and attended Owatonna High School, and also attended U.W. Stout for one year. Theresa married Jeff Gilman October 30, 1998. Theresa enjoyed the outdoors, camping, reading, crafts, and being with her children. She is survived by her husband Jeff Gilman of Blooming Prairie daughter, Kristin Kubat of Owatonna, sons Noah and Seth Gilman of Blooming Prairie, mother, Susan Kubat of Owatonna, brother, Greg Kubat of Owatonna, sister Debbie (and Randy) Roehl of Johnson Creek, WI, grandmother, Cora Kubat of Owatonna, and mother and father in law Stan (and Judy) Gilman of Owatonna. Theresa is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Kubat, paternal grandfather, and maternal grandparents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday April 22, 2009 from 4-7 PM and at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held Thursday April 23, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Reverend John Weisenburger officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are preferred.
