Thomas A. Gritz, 89, of West Concord, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1918 in Claremont, Minnesota the son of Thomas and Victoria (Marsolek) Gritz. Tom enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash and going fishing with Opportunity Services. He loved animals, especially dogs. Thomas is survived by several cousins and his family at Dodge SLS. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. Visitation will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, West Concord on Thursday from 10-11 A.M. Memorial service will be held October 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Kurt Farrell officiating. Interment will be in the St. Frances de Sales Cemetery in Claremont. Michaelson Funeral Home of West Concord is handling arrangements. Memorials are preferred to Opportunity Services of Kasson.
