Thomas P. Remker, 46, of Owatonna, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home of natural causes. He was born June 16, 1968 in Rochester, Minnesota the son of Robert and Judy (Tollefson) Remker. Thomas graduated with the class of 1986 from Blooming Prairie High School where he was very active in sports. He then attended college in Albert Lea. Thomas was united in marriage to Dawn Hinz on September 4, 1993 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. After marriage the couple made their home in Owatonna where Tom worked for Schmidt-Goodman in Rochester. The couple later moved to Rochester and back to Owatonna in 1997, when Tom worked for IKON out of Rochester and Minneapolis. Thomas was currently employed with Noble RV in Owatonna. Tom enjoyed his children's sports, fishing, golfing, tennis, and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Dawn Remker of Owatonna, children Samantha (fianc�© Jon Blazek) Hinz of Burnsville, Tillman Remker of Rochester, Jonah Remker of Owatonna, and Nicholas Remker of Owatonna, and his parents Robert and Judy Remker of Blooming Prairie. He is also survived by his siblings Joanne Brian of Pleasontville, CA, Kris (Scott) Ohm of Blooming Prairie, Rob (Donna) Remker of Eagan, Jenny (Ryan) Heimerman of Blooming Prairie, and Amy Baldwin of Blooming Prairie, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna.
