Timothy (Tim) P. White, 50, of Owatonna, died unexpectedly in his sleep at his home in Owatonna on July 19, 2015.
Tim was born on February 15, 1965 in Owatonna, MN, the son of Vern O. White and Patricia M. (Hudrlik) White. He was a 1983 graduate of Owatonna High School. He worked for many years at Viracon, and at Wenger Corporation installing and servicing products across the United States and internationally. Later in life he worked in his own business, Tim's Handyman Service, and most recently at Camp Pillsbury, helping to restore the buildings.
Tim's favorite things to do were fishing with his dad and going to "the fair". His hobbies included woodworking, playing guitar, singing karaoke, and writing songs and poems. He wrote a song for his son TJ that he sang to him many times. He also loved animals. As a boy, he would bring home many creatures he found including turtles, snakes, and a Great Dane puppy he fell in love with. His dog Mia survives him.
Tim expected excellence of himself and was loved by friends and family. He was married twice and is survived by his two sons, TJ White (and fiance, Katie Rosenau) of St. Louis Park and Matthew Brinkman (and fiance, Therese Bermingham) of Minneapolis; mother, Patsy White of Owatonna; sister, Susan (and Thomas) Peterson of Lakeville; brother, Michael White of Medford; sister, Lisa White Ebeling of Owatonna; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Jeremy, Jonathan, Rachel, Jesse, Luke, Laura, and dear friend, Lynn White of Owatonna.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vern White.
A memorial service for Tim will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.
