Trevor S. Darkow, 29, of Mankato, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1980 in Winona, Minnesota the son of Steve and Julie (Brugger) Darkow. Trevor graduated from St. James High School in 2000, and then moved to Mankato where he lived at Griffin Housing and worked at Loyola High School. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Owatonna. Trevor was a very AVID Minnesota Twins fan; kept books diligently for every game. He also enjoyed pro wrestling and bowling. He is survived by his parents, brothers, Zachary (and Kylene) Darkow of Belle Plaine, Tyler (and Bridget Welch) Darkow of Owatonna, and Walker Darkow of Owatonna. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Ted (and Gladys) Darkow of Lamberton, maternal grandfather Jack Brugger of Winona, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Delores Brugger, and a cousin Kathleen Batalden. Visitation will be at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be held Thursday June 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church with The Reverend Thomas Smith officiating.
