Troy Alan Petersohn, 44, of Claremont, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born May 18, 1967 in Rochester, Minnesota the son of Judi (Quaale) Petersohn and Donald Petersohn. He graduated from Claremont High School in 1985. During his senior year, he earned the Eagle Scout award and All Conference in Baseball. He then worked for Viracon for over 20 years. Troy was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Claremont. He was an avid NASCAR, Elvis and horseracing fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his daughter, Tyra. Troy was outgoing and was also known for his smile and laughter. He is survived by his three children, Tyra Petersohn of Kasson, Kora Possehl and Zachary Possehl of Kasson; grandson, Kaeson Possehl; mother, Judi Petersohn of Rochester; father, Donald Petersohn of Owatonna; three brothers, Tracy (and Michelle) Petersohn of Dodge Center, Travis Petersohn of Medford, and Trent Petersohn of Dodge Center; nieces and nephews, Kendra, Owen, and Pierce Petersohn, and Dream Petersohn; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, aunt, JoAnne Hegna, uncle, Dale Petersohn and cousin, Tony Yankoviak. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church, Dodge Center on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church with The Reverend Will Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the St. Frances de Sales Catholic Cemetery in Claremont.
