Troy R. Ulrich, 42 of Claremont died Saturday in Claremont. He was born February 15, 1966 in Owatonna the son of Richard and Helen (Dalland) Ulrich. Troy attended school in Owatonna, and then married Kim Spalding, the couple were later divorced. He worked as masonry until he became disabled in 2003. Troy enjoyed spending time with his father, children and the rest of his extended family. He was also a wonderful cook, and enjoyed creating new dishes. Troy is survived by his father Richard (Judy) of Owatonna, sons Travis and Trevor Ulrich and daughter Tasha Ulrich all of Lake Mills, IA. He is also survived by sisters Vickie (Vernon) Hinchley, Deb Behne, Nancy (Arlen) Techau, and Susan (Charles) Reese all of Owatonna, brother Cory (Jody) Ulrich of Warsaw, and fianc Susan Kunz of Claremont, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday February 22 at 11:00 AM at St John Lutheran Church with the Reverend Dave Klawiter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday February 21 at Michaelson Funeral Home from 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
