Tyler James Harlicker, 7, of Owatonna, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in the arms of his loving family at his residence after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born April 23, 2003 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Tim and Susan (Rivett) Harlicker. He was in the 2nd grade at McKinley Elementary. Tyler played t-ball, squirt ball, soccer and was highly skilled at video games. He also loved the outdoors, waterparks, pools and swim lessons. He loved life, and school. Tyler was kind hearted, genuine and honest. Purple was his favorite color and he was a Twins and Vikings fan. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Susan Harlicker of Owatonna; brothers, Jacob and Dillon; sister, Lillie; paternal grandparents, Jim and Judy Harlicker of Owatonna; maternal grandparents, Ann McCormick and Bill Rivett both of Sacramento, CA; maternal great grandparents, Jackie Hall of Healdsburg, CA and Jim Rivett of Sacramento, CA; aunts and uncles, Linda Moran of Moore Park, CA, Tom Rivett and Jackie Rivett both of Sacramento, CA, Robin Tomlinson of Shingle Springs, CA, Tom (and Jane) Harlicker of Witchita, KS, Wendy (and Tom) Evan of Rochester, Krista (and Dave) Harlicker-Houtman of Newark, DE; many loving cousins and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Harry and Bernice Hartle and Grant and Frieda McColley. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM . Funeral services will be held April 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Tyler Harlicker Scholarship Fund in care of Trinity Lutheran Church, 609 S. Lincoln Avenue, Owatonna, MN 55060.
