Vickie Lynn Rand, 53, of Claremont, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at her parent''s home. Vickie was born March 31, 1956 in Owatonna, Minnesota the daughter of Herbert and Betty (Hallaway) Rand. She was raised on her parent's farm in Ripley Township and attended school in Claremont graduating from Claremont High School in 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, playing games and puzzles, watching movies and collecting memorabilia. She is survived by her parents, Herbert and Betty Rand of Claremont; brother, Herbert (and Rebecca) Rand of Owatonna; three sisters, Candace Cole of Eagan; Crystal (and Dean) Gansen of Kasson; Caprice (and Nathan Biehn) Rand of Jordan; 10 nephews, 6 nieces, three great nieces and 1 great nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday, November 16 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 17 at 2:00 PM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Pastor Loren Olson officiating. Interment will be in the Owatonna Memorial Gardens in Owatonna.
