Victor Edward Brekke, 69, of West Concord, died July 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Victor was born January 24, 1946 in West Concord the son of Clifford and Josephine Brekke. He attended school in West Concord in Ellington Township. He lived in West Concord most of his life and O'Fallon, Missouri for two years before returning to Minnesota. Victor worked as a milk hauler and mechanic. He worked construction for the last 30 years. Vic was known for his side burns and cowboy hats, loved the outdoors, tinkering with anything that had a motor, and spending time with family and friends. Vic had a big heart and would help anyone anytime. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Brekke of West Concord; daughters, Vickie (Jim) Huber of Owatonna, MN, Jodie (Jim) Miller of Francis Creek, WI, Kristie (Jason) DeVoe of Janesville, WI, Kim (Manuel) Crandall of Dodge Center, MN, Becky (Kevin) Lubahn of Mantorville, MN, LeahAnn (Jay) Clemens of Byron, MN, and Kari (Josh) Johnsen of Owatonna, MN; sons, James (Rose) Crandall of Columbus, OH, Curt (Terri) Crandall of Owatonna, MN, and Gale (Nancy) Crandall of Owatonna, MN; grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Paige and Lucas Miller, Devan and Sebastian Beyel, Andre and Blake Kubat, Kegan and Meghan Lubahn, Adam and Travis Clemens, Dalton, Trenton, Brody, and Adyson Johnsen, Michael, Mikayla, Shaylynn, Creeanna, and Brysen Crandall, Megan Jones, and Emma and Abbey Crandall; great grandchild, Titon Schwering; brother, Butch (Peggy) Brekke of Claremont, MN; sisters, Mabel (Ed) Wagner of Rochester, MN, Ida (Lyle) Lyke of Claremont, MN, Marilyn (Arlie) Trelstad of Orr, MN, Marian Flom of Claremont, MN, and Lucy (Larry) Lee of Kenyon, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Vic will be dearly missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to know him. At Vic's request, there will be no visitation or funeral. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Michaelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
