Viola Marie Fedder, 93, of Chisago City, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Fairview Lakes Hospital. She was born November 25, 1921 in West Concord, Minnesota the daughter of Dewey and Alice (Miller) Scott. Viola grew up in West Concord and attended school there. She then married Lester Hoksch on November 11, 1940 in West Concord, and he later died in 1953. Viola then married Ervin Fedder on November 19, 1955 in Owatonna and he later died in 1998. Viola worked as a caretaker for apartment buildings, worked at various grocery stores in Owatonna including Southside Grocery which they owned, and she also worked at a nursing home in New Hope. Viola enjoyed watching NASCAR and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Mike) Elton of Chisago City, four grandchildren Molly (Jeff) Bromert, Mandy Elton, Steve (Stacy) Milverstedt, and Kelly (Tom) Stadler, and nine great grandchildren Madalyn, Benjamin, Abby, Elly, Jodi, Sam, Keith, MacKenzie, and Chase. She is also survived by her son in law Les (Vicki) Milverstedt of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, and by her daughter Bonnie Milverstedt. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Michaelson Funeral Home with Reverend David Breederland officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
